30 August 2007 - Pingus update released

A new version ( version 0.7.0) has been released. This version of Pingus is the first to support SDL. SDL is a cross platform library which means software can be ported easily many other platforms including Window, Linux and OS X.

As a result of this Pingus has a Windows release. Only a couple other things of note are anti aliased fonts, PPC and 64 bit support and better support for screens larger than 800x600. A downside is the level editor has been temporarily removed.
