18 April 2008 - Inkscape 0.46 Released

The Inkscape community has released a major version of Inkscape (0.46). One of the biggest features of this release is its ability to create and edit PDF documents.

Other features include performance improvements, ability to dock dialong boxes, a 3D box tool, Live Path Effects which allows you to brushes and various effects on a path. Other colour spaces have been added as well as the standard sRGB. Most of the SVG filters are now implemented with the ability to stack filters for more powerful effects.
