28 February 2007 - A new release of Inkscape available with many new features

Inkscape 0.45 was released on Valentines day.

This new release has many new interesting features including Gaussian blur utilising SVG filters

Other new features include

• Faster rendering
• History allowing for multiple undos and redos
• Improved import/export for Adobe Illustrator, PDF export has many new features, EMF, PS and EPS all improved
• New save a copy command
• Many bugfixes, hundreds in fact
