Opera is a free full featured web browser weighing in at 3.5MB. Opera has been around for a very long time (since 1994) but for some reason has struggled to gain a larger chunk of the web browser market. Originally Opera was commercial anda license was needed, then the marketing was changed which added adverts
Opera Has many features that can't be found in other browsers such as Firefox without adding extensions.

After over a year of development Opera 9.5 Alpha has been released. This is a test release not the final so it will have problems.
Opera 9.5 Alpha has many new features including most of a all a fast rendering engine, probably the fastest on any browser. More support for CSS3 has been added as well as a tool to search your history, for those occasions where you forget where you found something.
