Crimson Fields is a free turn based strategy game based on the style of Battle Isle.

As with Battle Isle each player takes one turn to move their units around and/or attack opposing players. Their are various mission objectives which could involve destroying all enemies on the map or protecting convoyss and strategic locations.

Crimson Fields also includes tools which allow you to create your own maps and campaigns. Another great feature is the ability to import Battle Isle maps to play on.

These types of games are quite good when it comes to multiplayer as it is turn based. You can choose to play against the computer, with another human player or via e-mail. Playing with other human players is great as you all take turns one at a time so you dont need to be at the computer all the time.
