Legends is a fantastic free first person multiplayer shooter. Most first person shooters are pretty much standard, have a gun, dodge left and right jump up and down a bit to avoid being hit. Legends on the other hand requires skill and quick strategic thinking as you can also fly around the landscape with a jetpack.

Legends is inspired by an old classic called Tribes, in fact it is built using the same Torque engine by Garage Games.

Legends has various game types including

• Capture the Flag
• Deathmatch
• War
  

There are also plenty of maps to choose from. If you have an artistic flair you may want to help out with creating maps, artwork or models and get involved with the development. Legends has a built in editor for creating maps with plenty of tools to help.

Sadly development of this game has been painfully slow and is hard too work out if it is still being actively developed. Lack of players also probably doesn't help.
