KMyMoney is a free alternative accounting package similar to Quicken. It was designed to be as simple to use as possible for non technical users. It certainly does look good and has a lot of attention paid to the interface.

There are many features included such as support for mulitple accounts such as current/checking accounts, credit card accounts and savings accounts. KMyMoney also allows you to reconcile your accounts. 

Although a pre version 1 (as with most open source software), KMyMoney is still very functional and a worthy collection to anyone using open sourced software.
