Now 3D is quite a nice 3D modelling application which allows you to render photorealistic raytraced images. It is written in Visual Basic so therefore Windows only.

It hasn't got a lot of features as other free 3D packages but is good enough for a beginner to get into as it has quite a nice GUI allowing easy access to object properties.

However it still has lots of features you would expect to find in a 3D graphics program such bump mapping and refelctions.
