QCad is an open sourced, GPL'd computer aided design (CAD) package available on most major operating systems.

QCad has many features including

• various drawing tools for creating lines, arcs, circles, ellipses, etc
• different fill types
• layers
• multiple levels of undo/redo

The only drawback to this software is that although this is free software the website only offers demo binaries as they also sell a supported version. There appears to be binaries for various Linux distributions but at this time we are not sure about Mac OS X or Windows versions. Links to binaries will appear here when we find them.
