Gnome Planner, previously known as Mr Planner, is a free project management application with a similar tyle as Microsoft Project.

Gnome Planner is intended to be part of the Gnome Office Suite but has been very slow in development. But as of 2008 it has become a lot more active. There are now usable versions available on multiple platforms including Windows.

Projects created with Gnome Planner can be stored as an XML file or stored in a database called PostgresSQL. Additionally projects can be exported to an Adobe PDF file or exported as a HTML file to be viewed in a standard web browser.
