Scorched 3D is an excellent free turn based strategy game set on a randomly generated 3D island.

Scorched 3D is based on an old classic game Scorched Earth where the idea is to attack your opponents by setting the angle and power of your weapon then firing. the game allows you to earn cash to spend on upgrades.

Scorched 3D takes the same concept and puts it into a 3D island which is randomly generated each time you play.

At the game start you can choose from a large selection of units/tanks (including Star Wars models) and weapons and blow the hell out of the opponent (and the map)

There are various ways to play including online play which allows you to play with up to 20 players.

You can play the game as a series of levels and build up cash to use in the next match or create your own games. Various mods (game modifications) are also available to change the way the game plays but still using the same concept.
