Savage 2 is a free game which features elements of a first person shooter, a role play game and a realtime strategy game.

Savage 2 is played entirely online although there is an offline practice mode.

When you join a Savage 2 game you choose your team, either Legions of Man or the Beat Horde. Each team have their own strengths an weaknesses. At the beginning of the game each team elects their own commander who will oversee the game. This is not strictly neccessary but is recommended to make the most out of playing the game.
