WarRock - A free online multiplayer modern tactical combat FPS

WarRock is a free (or Free2Play™ ) modern tactical combat FPS. Although at first glance it is easy to compare to the likes of the BattleField™ series of games, Warrock does have a lot going for it.

WarRock features 3 different game types to choose from; mission mode, infantry and vehicles. Each game type has varying map scales. So the mission mode has smaller maps and less players whereas the vehicles game type has larger maps and more players

The mission mode for Warrock is more akin to Counter Strike. Depending on which side you join the game on you will either have to plant a bomb or diffuse a bomb or just wipe out all the enemy team.

The infantry and vehicle modes involve capturing flags at bases dotted around the map. The difference between vehicles and infantry is really the scale. You wouldn't want to walk everywhere on the vehicle maps. 

Whilst WarRock is a free game there are also premium options. These premium options give you access to more content. These do not appear to be one of payments though so you can take the extras whenever you want.

Warrock also maintains a persistent state for you game character so allows you to improve your character which gives you access to more weapon. This gives it a real longevity and challenge to work your way up the ranks.
