Glest - Free 3D realtime strategy game

Glest is a free 3D RTS with a medievel setting. The main Glest downlload features two factions, Magic and Tech. Basically you choose to play using magic or play using traditional weaponry of the time, ie. swiords and bows.

Glest has many and varied units each unique and with it's own animation and sound effects.

Although the basic download is quite limited there are various mods which can be downloaded. These vary from different maps to complete unit changes.

A multiplayer option is missing which would really make this an outstanding free RTS but the game is activley developed and multiplayer support may well be added in the near future.
